We seek a skilled and empathetic Mastectomy/Compression Fitter to join our team.
Job Overview:
As a Mastectomy/Compression Fitter, you will work closely with breast cancer survivors to ensure proper fitting of post-surgical garments, breast prostheses, and compression products. Your expertise will help women feel comfortable and confident during a challenging recovery process. This role requires high care, sensitivity, and technical knowledge to meet individual patient needs.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct fittings for post-mastectomy bras, breast prostheses, and compression garments (including lymphedema sleeves).
-Provide personalized consultations to breast cancer survivors and those in need of compression therapy.
-Measure and fit patients with medical compression garments and post-surgical items.
-Educate patients on their garments and products’ use, care, and benefits.
-Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure patients receive the best care and recommendations.
-Maintain accurate patient records, including measurements and fitting details.
-Stay updated on new products, techniques, and industry standards.
-Demonstrate excellent customer service with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
-Ensure fitting rooms are organized, clean, and stocked with appropriate products.
Qualifications:
-Certified Mastectomy Fitter (FM) or Compression Fitter certification is preferred, or you are willing to become certified within a set timeframe.
-Previous experience in a healthcare or retail environment providing direct patient care or customer service is preferred.
-Strong knowledge of mastectomy, lymphedema, and compression products.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first mentality.
-Attention to detail, with the ability to perform accurate measurements.
-Comfortable working with patients in sensitive situations and providing emotional support.
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Our mission is to help our clients regain confidence, comfort, and a sense of normalcy post-surgery. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Front Office Coordinator to join our team and be the welcoming face of our clinic.
The Front Office Coordinator manages the day-to-day administrative tasks of our mastectomy and compression DME (Durable Medical Equipment) shop. This role involves interacting with patients, managing appointments, handling billing, and ensuring smooth front-office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and a welcoming atmosphere.
-Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage patient inquiries professionally and courteously.
-Manage patient check-in/check-out processes, verify insurance information, and handle intake paperwork.
-Assist with creating labels for shipping products to clients
-Coordinate with mastectomy and compression fitters to maintain an efficient flow of appointments and fittings.
-Maintain patient records, including insurance and billing information, with accuracy and confidentiality.
-Process payments, issue receipts, and handle day-to-day financial transactions.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front office area and fitting rooms.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure patient needs are met and questions are answered.
-A high school diploma or equivalent and additional education or certification in medical administration or a related field is a plus.
-Prior experience in a medical office, DME shop, or healthcare setting is preferred.
-Knowledge of insurance billing and basic medical terminology related to mastectomy and compression therapy.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
-Excellent customer service skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or practice management software.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
-Friendly, positive attitude and a team-oriented approach to work.
